There is music for everything in South America such as agricultural labour, building houses, marketing cattle, sheep and goats etc. There are also a number of traditional dances and traditional dance songs. Students will have the opportunity to witness local folk music and take part in performances with locals.

DAY 1: TRAVEL DAY
Depart from your closest international airport and fly to Buenos Aires.
DAY 2: SIGHT SEEING & LANGUAGE CLASS
Start the morning in Buenos Aires, known for it’s unique culture, its beautiful language and the birthplace of the tango. In the afternoon, you will attend a language class so you can freshen up yourt echnique and be ready to practice in the coming days.
DAY 3: IGUAZU FALLS
Once you have arrived in Iguazu you will cross the border into Brazil and visit the sensational Iguazu Falls through the Brazilian National Park entrance. Prepare for stunning panoramic views and close up action but don’t forget your raincoat!

Experience a vibrant and fast-paced tango class or enjoy a performance at the Teatro Colon, ranked one of the best Opera Houses in the world by National Geographic. Take a walk across the Puente de la Mujer, a rotating footbridge of impressive engineering, architectural and construction achievement. Visit the Glacier National Park and witness how this sleeping giant has carved out the landscape.
Visit the Glacier National Park (known as Parque Nacional Los Glaciares) where you will explore places only accessible by boat. Tour through the Spegazzini, the Upsala and the Perito Moreno glaciers, entering the bays that they form. Get up close to the 200-foot glacial wall, and see the ice falling from the glacier into the waters below, as you learn more about this incredible part of the world.
Located in Buenos Aires, The Teatro Colón is considered to be among the best concert venues in the world. Regarded to have great acoustics, this opera house creates a rich orchestra sound. Pay a visit to this magnificent concert venue with your school and learn about the way building material and architecture can affect concert hall acoustics.
The semicircular waterfall at the heart of this site is some 80 m high and 2,700 m in diameter and is situated on a line spanning the border between Argentina and Brazil. Made up of many cascades producing vast sprays of water, it is one of the most spectacular waterfalls in the world. The surrounding subtropical rainforest has over 2,000 species of vascular plants and is home to the typical wildlife of the region: tapirs, giant anteaters, howler monkeys, ocelots, jaguars and caymans.
