The ultimate Space Camp mission starts here at the birthplace of America’s space program.
Learn about real-life applications for STEM subjects at the Huntsville Space Camp. Students will experience an all-American camp with some of the most exciting simulators on offer. From flights simulators to learning basic land and water survival skills, the NASA space camp programs combine critical thinking, hands-on learning and teamwork. Students are encouraged to engineer solutions for real-world problems.
Space Camp is run by the U.S. Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville, Alabama and Space Camp. Graduates leave inspired to take more STEM classes and many have said their camp experience encouraged them to enter a STEM field such as aerospace, energy, education, biotech or technology.
DAY 1: TRAVEL DAY
Depart from your closest international airport and fly to Huntsville.
DAY 2-6: CHECK IN AT SPACE CAMP
Your students will spend 5 days in the hands of the educators at the Advanced Space Camp program (while teachers stay off site at nearby accommodation)
DAY 7: ADVANCE SPACE CAMP GRADUATION & FLY TO ORLANDO
After graduation take a flight to Orlando. Explore the Kennedy Space Center visitor complex and enjoy lunch with one of NASA’s astronauts.

Space Camp run throughout the year for 5 to 6 days, often starting on a Sunday, and finishing with graduation on a Friday. Your students will stay onsite and take part in activities from 8.30 am until 9 pm every night. Student trainees work together, experiencing simulators, building robots and completing space missions. Find out what it really means to be an astronaut; there is no better place to learn about space and space exploration. Space Camps curriculum teaches principles of STEM, using real-world examples and advanced technology.
Students will learn real-world applications of STEAM principles as they build, program and test their own robots incorporating wireless control technology into their designs. Piloting their own robot will put their skills to the test as they take part in a series of challenges and competitions. Using RealFlight drone simulations and Unmanned Aerial Systems, students will develop the art of flight.
Students experience a one-of-a-kind centrifuge simulator, build shelters and learn how to find food in advanced wilderness training. This 5-day aviation-themed space camp gives students the chance to take on the role of fighter pilot, marine or navy seal and practice water-survival skills with hands-on activities in the U.S. Space & Rocket Center on-site manmade lake. With retired aircraft onsite, students will explore aviation principals and airframe design.
The Advanced Space Academy at Space Camp Alabama is an immersive experience for your STEM students. Through a series of astronaut training exercises, engineering challenges and activities, your students will go on their own space mission to Mars. It’s important to prepare for every contingency so students are encouraged to think outside of the box, anticipating problems and scenarios. Students will develop their STEAM knowledge when building a rover and completing a rocket recovery mission. This program is a college-accredited program through the University of Alabama.
