Your students will experience the vibrant culture and unique geography of Hawaii on this educational trip
Hawaii presents a variety of learning opportunities for schools. While the main focus of this tour is culture and geography, it also touches on history including a visit to Pearl Harbour and Battleship USS Missouri.
Your school will spend time on foot exploring Waikiki, including a Rainforest Walk.
One of the many highlights is a cultural exchange with the Hawai‘inuiākea School of Hawaiian Knowledge at the University of Hawaii.
It wouldn't be a visit to Hawaii without including some snorkelling and beach time.
DAY 1: TRAVEL TO HONOLULU
Depart home airport and fly to Honolulu.
DAY 2: BATTLESHIP USS MISSOURI
Visit the Battleship USS Missouri and stand on the deck where the Japanese Instrument of Surrender were signed by Japan to end World War II.
DAY 3: PALI LOOKOUT
The Nu‘uanu Pali Lookout is a place of deep historical significance, where King Kamehameha I won the struggle that finally united O’ahu under his rule. It is perched over 1,000 feet above the coastline, amid the Ko‘olau mountains and offers a breathtaking view of the windward side of O‘ahu.

Exploring the geographical locations both on foot and by coach. Your students will explore Hawaiian culture in a genuine way, and walk away with a real understanding of the local people.
Explore Waikiki on foot with your guide, seeing all the famous sights and attractions.
Some activities may include a cultural workshop, performances, and demonstrations, as well as opportunities for students to interact and engage with people from diverse backgrounds. The day may include presentations on the history, traditions, and customs of the Hawaiian Polynesian Culture and conclude with a Kapa Haka performance by Rangitoto College students.
Experience the Pearl Harbor exhibit, watch historical footage, and pay a visit to the USS Arizona Memorial.
On December 7, 1941, Japan's surprise attack on Pearl Harbor and six other military bases on O'ahu island drew the United States into World War II, a conflict that affected the entire globe. Today, Pearl Harbor stands as a testament to American perseverance and determination, and provides an opportunity for introspection, commemoration, and comprehension.
