DAY 1: TRAVEL DAY
Fly from your home city to Rome
DAY 2: ROME
Transfer to your hotel and enjoy a three hour guided walk of Ancient Rome, including entrance and a guided tour of the mighty Colosseum.
DAY 3: THE VATICAN CITY
After breakfast, take a tour of the smallest country in the world, The Vatican City, including a guided tour of St Peter’s Basilica and the Sistine Chapel, where you will see awe-inspiring works from Michelangelo. In the afternoon, explore the city with a Renaissance and Baroque walking tour of Rome, taking in the impressive Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain.

Europe is home to some of the most significant galleries and historical monuments in the world. See your students inspired by The Louvre, Arc de Triomphe, Sacre Coeur and the Pompidou Centre in Paris. Enjoy activities such as a guided tour of Vincent Van Gogh’s last residence in Auvers or Claude Monet’s garden in Giverny and tour around Dali’s incredible theatre museum in Figueres.
Barcelona is a city rich in modern art and architectural splendours spanning more than 2000 years. Many well-known artists throughout history have called Barcelona home, including Antoni Gaudi, Salvador Dali, Pablo Picasso and Joan Miró. This seaside Catalan city is brimming with modern art museums. On the top of our list is the Fundació Joan Miró. Inaugurated by the artist himself in the 1970s, the foundation boasts over 10,000 pieces of work from Miró and other contemporary artists. It is a beautiful place to learn more about what inspired the artist and pioneer of surrealism.
Berlin is full of unique experiences including the underground art in the Sammlung Boros, housed in a World War 2 bunker. Alternatively you can visit the KW Institute for Contemporary Art, a gallery based in a former margarine factory, where emerging international artists showcase their work.
London is a metropolitan city with a history stretching back to Roman times. One of the best ways to learn more about this city is on a double-decker bus tour. The tour takes you past some of the city’s iconic sites including the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace and the Tower of London. On the other side of the River Thames, you can enjoy the sprawling city views on the London Eye or at the top of The Shard.
