Want to go skiing in Japan for free? Enjoy culture, cuisine, amazing snow, English speaking guides, mountain passes, ski in ski out accommodation and more… what’s the catch? You have to be a teacher, and you have to be willing to take your eager students on the school ski trip of a lifetime with Educating Adventures School Tours.
This incredible school trip to Japan encapsulates all that is unique about Japan and combines world class skiing, fantastic learner’s facilities and a safe and welcoming environment.
Peter Moyes Anglican Community School from Western Australia have recently returned from a 10 day ski trip to Japan and while we give them a chance to catch their breath before getting a full debrief, the feedback so far has been great…
Trip lead teacher, Kristina Oxley was excited to embark on an international trip after previously visiting Thredbo in the NSW Snowy Mountains, and said the overall process was ‘smooth’ and the experienced team at Educating Adventures are ‘very easy to deal with’. “Compared to Thredbo the trip was $500 more for diversity, culture, better terrain, more days, better location, better beginner’s facilities, and no injuries happened.”
Teachers and students were “Very very happy with the accommodation, we loved that it was ski in/ ski out and in a great location”.
During the trip to Japan, Peter Moyes Anglican Community students were accompanied by an EA guide who offered support to teachers and assisted with ensuring students knew where to be and when. Ms. Oxley explained
The EA guide was FANTASTIC!! Really helped out with problem solving (on the run) and helped with any encountered problems. When we couldn’t go to see the Snow Monkeys he planned back-up options, and I would love to have him every trip.
Aside from of course the skiing, highlights included a trip to Tokyo where students visited Disneyland, and a visit to the special ward of Shibuya, one of Tokyo's busiest railway areas, with a population density of 14,679.09 people per km².
