In September Mayfield Grammar embarked on a trip to Yosemite and San Francisco. This 8-day trip is the perfect combination between education and fun.
Traveling post pandemic
Travel is back. It's great to be able to travel with ease again post pandemic. It's fantastic that schools now have the ability to spark their students' ambitions and curiosity on an international school trip. Education outside the classroom is where real life, relevant learning happens.
“Learning outside the classroom activities are often authentic, hands-on, interactive and build on classroom learning.”
The purpose of school is to prepare students for life beyond school. Today's society has a higher demand for self-awareness and more specialised skills. One of the easiest ways to help advance students is by incorporating learning experiences outside the classroom. Taking classroom learning outside can help enrich a student's educational experience by showing them real-life applications of theories that they are learning at school.

Tour Managers
One of the reasons schools travel to the USA with Educating Adventures time and time again is our amazing tour reps. We had two tour managers on the California trip to ensure the trip ran smoothly. Our tour managers Brenda and Brandi helped guarantee that there was amazing organization, on the ground handling and so the Teachers could take a step back and enjoy the trip stress-free.
Traveling with a large group
Mayfield Grammar's trip to California had a large group with 61 students. This shows it is feasible to go on an international school tour while traveling with a large number of students.
