EA School Tours have been organising school trips to Orlando for more than 10 years. In Orlando, your students can take part in NASA's Camp Kennedy Space Centre International Program, check out the Mars Operations Control Centre, and dine with an astronaut.
Orlando also offers rich performing arts and museum scene; several fantastic nature preserves; fabulous cuisine and top theme parks. Get in touch with our team and start planning your trip to Orlando today.
Our 3-5 day Kennedy Space Camp programs enable your students to become fully immersed in space centre life. Participate in other activities, such as rocket building, robotic engineering or delving into real-life astronaut training. Other activities on offer include a backstage visit to Universal Studios theme park, a free-fall workshop at i-Fly, and an exhilarating airboat ride through the Florida Everglades.
View ten-story high rockets from all eras of space exploration, walk through a full-size space shuttle mock-up, see 3D-IMAX space films on gigantic five-story screens, and see an actual Gemini program capsule on display. Some recent additions to the Center now include the Space Shuttle Atlantis and The Hubble Telescope exhibit. Students also get a behind the scenes glimpse of Kennedy Space Centre on a NASA Bus Tour to the LC-39 Observation Gantry and the Apollo/Saturn V Center! The amazing exhibits and inspiring shows will immerse students into the science and history behind space exploration.
Physics and freefall workshop at the I-Fly wind tunnel. Enjoy a 40 minute lecture taught by an accredited physics professor on the physics of freefall and the technology behind the wind tunnel, followed by Questions and Answers session and an exam. Everyone will leave this class educated and exhilarated after experiencing a one minute freefall in a state-of-the-art vertical wind tunnel - with wind speeds of 130 to 175+ mph!
Students will go behind the scenes, beyond the screen, and jump right into the action of their favorite movies at Universal Studios, the world's premier movie and TV based theme park. The motto of Universal Studios is ‘ride the movies,’ and that’s definitely what students will be doing! With great rollercoasters, shows and characters filling the park fun is certainly on the agenda! Alternatively, students and teachers can head to Universal Islands of Adventure! Here, creative consultant, Steven Spielberg, has put together the most thrilling and technologically advanced rides and attractions ever made! The journey begins at the exotic Port of Entry and takes students through five uniquely themed islands.
Space Trek is an educational company located at the Kennedy Space Centre where your students will experience 4 different Camps options including Mission Robotics 3 day Camp, Near Space Investigation and Rocketry, a 3-day program where your students will assume the role of real NASA engineers to accomplish a mission and send mankind to outer space!
This 3 - 5-day adventure takes place in the all-new Astronaut Training Experience Facility! Learn about life on Mars in the Mars Operations Control Centre, and have fun with simulators and robotic challenges. Students will receive hands-on training from experienced educators and meet a veteran NASA Astronaut. This educational school trip caters for all international students between the ages of 10 -17 years old. Click the button below to request a sample itinerary on Camp KSC.
"Once again, thank you to EA for organising this really wonderful tour for our boys and staff. Last year was my 30th year of continuous teaching of secondary science and the NASA tour was probably the highlight, personally for me, in my teaching career!"
