Part of the trip includes true Arizona style Ranchs. At White Stallion Ranch you'll enjoy the guided, western-style horseback riding with friendly wranglers, fine horses, and miles of scenic trails. You will also have the chance to learn some practical 'coyboy' skills!
See the Opera House where Lilly Langtry sang; look through a rifle port in the actual cabin that survived Arizona's bloodiest range war; laugh your way through a "melodrama"; or browse through an 1890's dress shop and much more!
All of this, plus a blacksmith shop, sheriff's office and jail, complete ranch complex, and costumed interpreters including cowboys, lawmen, and lovely Victorian ladies - await you at Pioneer Living History Village, Arizona's most authentic Old West town.
Canyon de Chelly is unique as it consists entirely of Navajo Tribal Trust Land which remains in the ownership of the Navajo Nation and is home to the canyon community
In full regalia the Navajo join with other tribes from around the nation to perform for your pleasure the traditional dances of their ancestors. Passed down from generation to generation, you will listen to the beat of the earthly drum and learn the sacred meaning of the dances + additional cultural presentations.
The Grand Canyon will catch your breath as you stand over one of the world’s wonders. See great teaching resources and more details on the Grand Canyon here.
