The Benefits of Outdoor Adventure and Teacher Recognition

For too many young people, their life is impoverished by little or no contact with the natural environment. Randall Williams argues that benefits of active involvement with nature requires a better response. The article The Benefits of Outdoor Adventure by Randall emphasizes the importance of students interacting in natural environments.

It is a very interesting article, but does not mention the fantastic job teachers do by organise school trips, which give students the chance of outdoor adventure. Teachers need to be recognised for their effort of leading school trips and tours. Well done and thank you.
