Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex

The Kennedy Space Center is an educational center which allows students to explore and tour NASA areas and interact with shows and exhibits. View ten-story high rockets from all eras of space exploration in the Rocket Garden, walk through a full-size Space Shuttle mock-up, see IMAX space films on gigantic five-story screens, and see an actual Gemini program capsule on display. The amazing exhibits and inspiring shows will immerse students into the past, present and future of the NASA space program.

Student Space Explorers Adventure - Including Astronaut Training (AXT)

During the SEA (Space explorers Adventure Day) students will feel like real astronauts immersed in the world of astronaut training. This is an exciting combination of hands-on experiences, visual displays, demonstrations simulators, and fascinating information which will enhance appreciation for the rigours of manned and unmanned space flight. Students will experience motion-based simulators modelled after actual training simulators used by astronauts in the past, and have an opportunity to perform as a crew member of a space shuttle mission inside a full scale Space Shuttle Orbiter replica!
Astronaut Encounter:

Lunch with Famous Astronauts

Of the Earth's six billion people, a mere 500 men and women (approximately) have ever flown in space. But each day at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, guests get the rare opportunity to meet veteran astronauts from NASA’s Astronaut Corps. Lunch with an Astronaut gives students a one-of-a-kind experience to meet a member of NASA’s Astronaut Corps and get their autograph. This occasion offers an up-close and personal opportunity to share in the excitement of space exploration through the eyes and personal stories of one of NASA’s best.
